Glenn Sparks - 3 Time All-American & Dallas Cowboy

I had good success at the collegiate level earning the starting position at Offensive Guard for the University of Hawaii as a 17 year old freshman in 1971. I transferred to Boise State University where I was a 3-time All-American and Academic All-American (Pre-Med).

In 1976 I went to Rookie Camp with the Dallas Cowboys where I was attempting to play football and attend Dallas Theological Seminary at the same time. A broken bone in my ankle assisted me in making the decision which avenue I should pursue (God has His ways of directing you as He sees fit).

Still, I was able to continue playing competitive flag football with Athletes in Action (a Christian ministry) and with the Dallas Cowboy Old-Timers until a heart attack at age 39 threw a wrench into my athletic pursuits.

I had been fortunate enough to not have any debilitating injuries from my athletic endeavors, but had a lot of pain from repeated knee and shoulder injuries. I could no longer do any serious weight lifting, jogging, skiing or hiking without significant inflammation and resulting pain.

Thanks to this amazing business team, we have discovered something so powerful it has given us our active lifestyle back and the financial freedom to enjoy it!

Roy Jefferson, All-Pro 1968-69

Washington Redskins / Pittsburgh Steelers

In the NFL there are those athletes whose names and on-the-field exploits brings a smile to the fans who remember watching them play on Sunday. Roy Jefferson is one of those gifted athletes whose brought honor and glory to his teammates. Roy played under the leadership of Hall of Fame Coach George Allen, and considers Coach Allen one of the greatest teachers of "life" and teamwork.

Career Totals: 451 receptions - 7,539 Total Yards - 52 Touchdowns, and an amazing 16.7 yards per catch average. His most productive game was against the Atlanta Falcons in 1968, 11 receptions for 199 yards and 4 touchdowns!Roy is the only player in ten years to gain 1,000 yards back to back (1968-69).

In college Roy was the WAC Player of the Year in 1964, and selected All American Defensive Back. Roy was inducted into the University of Utah Hall of Fame.

Leron Lee, Outfielder

Cardinals - Padres - Indians - Dodgers - Japan

Though not widely publicized, Japan's all-time career batting leader is none other than former Major Leaguer Leron Lee. In eleven seasons with the Lotte Orions (1977-87), Lee hit .320.

After playing for the Cardinals, Padres, Indians and Dodgers (1969-76), Lee arrived in Japan at age twenty-nine. Earning the Pacific League home run and RBI titles (with 34 and 109 respectively) in his 1977 "rookie" season, the Lotte outfielder and first baseman finished six hits short of picking up a triple crown.

Winning the league batting crown in 1980 with a .358 average, Lee only dropped below the .300 mark his final season.

Among foreign players, Lee leads his peers with 1579 hits, 283 home runs, and 912 RBIs. Arguably the most successful foreign hitter ever to play in Japan. Here's a bit of baseball trivia ... In 1965 Leron and Mike Radford played together in the same All-Star game in Roseville, CA.

Today Leron is a highly successful partner of ours and continues to motivate others to reach higher levels of achievement. He is also the proud uncle of Derek Lee, All-Star first baseman for the Chicago Cubs.

D. Scott Stamper

NY Jets & USFL

After leaving Fort Lewis College, Mr. Stamper had a three-year career in the United States Football League, playing for the Denver Gold and the San Antonio Gunslingers. By the end of the 1984 season, he had become the all-time rushing and scoring leader in Gunslinger history. He also signed a free agent contract with the New York Jets of the National Football League in 1985, and played with the Jets through the pre-season.

During his collegiate days, Scott rushed for 1,206 yards in 1982, something in 1982 that no other Fort Lewis College running back had ever done shattering the school record by nearly 400 yards in the process.

A two-year letter winner in 1981 and 1982, Mr. Stamper earned second team NAIA All-America, first team All-NAIA District VII and first team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors as a senior. He was also voted Fort Lewis College's Most Valuable Player by his teammates.

In addition to owning the Fort Lewis College record for most yards in one season, Mr. Stamper held the school standards for most single-season rushing attempts (220 in 1982) and most consecutive 100-yard rushing games (five in 1982) at the time he played. He also set the Glendale (AZ) Community College record for most rushing yards in one season with 875 yards in 1980.

Mr. Stamper graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor's degree in athletic administration and a minor in coaching in 1984. He also holds an associate's degree in business administration from Glendale Community College.

During the off-season (the USFL played a spring and summer schedule), Mr. Stamper returned to Fort Lewis College, and served as running backs coach for Gary Barnett in 1983 and for Bill Cooke in 1984- the season the Raiders won their first football crown.

Sherri Howard

OIympic Gold Medalist

Olympic gold and silver medalist Sherri Howard is best known as a record-setting champion in the world of track and field. This world class American athlete was born in Sherman, Texas to Eugene and Barbara Howard. In a family of six girls, she spent her formative years in Alaska where her father was stationed for 17 of his 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. It was there that she won her first medal…in the 200-meters in the local ARCO Jesse Owens Games. After her father's transfer to Norton Air Force Base in California, she continued to run, quickly becoming the number one 400m runner in America while still in high school! Long before the Williams sisters rocked the tennis world, through the exceptional coaching skills of her father, Sherri and her sisters became known as "The Howard Sisters - the First Family of Track".

Sherri has received numerous awards and honors including the prestigious Nurmi Award, various Athlete of the Year awards, and even an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records with three of her sisters - Artra, Tina, and Denean. Sherri and Denean both won gold medals in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, and silver medals in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea as members of the U.S. 4 x 400 meter relay team - making them the only sisters in U.S. history to achieve this feat. Collegiately, Sherri won the 1985 NCAA 400 meter Championship while earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University at Los Angeles.

Today Sherri is very excited to be included in Mike Radford's worldwide marketing team and she knows the value of utilizing all that God has provided on earth.
